COLOUR-CODING OF US- AND MRT- IMAGES
Main advantages of the colour-coding method:
1) an image, which is obtained due to colour-coding, is a hystolic image of organs and tissues that enables to examine different physiological and pathological processes in them;
2) using the effect of an adequate colour-coding owing to computed technologies we can change different ranges of colours connected with different tissue densities;
3) colour-coding of scanned images help to characterize parts with intensive or weak microcirculation (ischemia, arterial and venous hyperemia) to differentiate the smallest layers of tissues in organs with different acoustic densities (tumors, cysts);
4) the effect enables to assess objectively the echogenity of an image in quantitative and qualitative parameters.
Application of colour-coded images in Neurology and Neurosurgery:
- investigation of structure of the brain tissue, circulation in different deeply situated, cortical and subcortical brain sections for explanation of the pathogenetic mechanism of the vascular insufficiency at the beginning of a disease (epilepsy, infantile cerebral paralysis, arrest of the psycho-speech-motor development, oligophrenia etc);
- diagnosis of the arterial aneurisms;
- observation of the growth of the neoplasm.
The project requires investments for rework and to make it an industrial model. |
