MICROCIRCULATION
Condition of capillary system as the most important link in the circulatory bed, which provides organs and tissues with all necessary substances for life, gives a lot of interesting additional information for diagnostics. Today the capillaroscopy, which helps to visualize microcirculation disturbances, became the one of the progressive diagnosing methods owing to the up-to-date electronic – computed technologies.
During the examination of the microcirculation picture we gradually compose the following classification for capillaroscopic images (patent of the State Patent Office of Ukraine № 67709 А on 31.12.03 “Assessment with the capillaroscopy method of disturbances in microcirculation in the normal state and in case of the pathology in people of different age”):
1. Capillary form:
• classical loop;
• atypical (bifurcation, trifurcation, quadrifurcation);
• moderately tortuous loop;
• a curl;
• tortuousity;
• ansiformation;
• a crossed capillary
2. Capillary length:
• dotted;
• short;
• middle;
• long.
3. Capillary type according to their caliber:
• microcaliber;
• middlecaliber;
• macrocaliber.
4. Specific gravity of capillaries:
• reduced (up to 16 per 2 mm);
• sufficient (16-20 per 2 mm);
• oversaturated (over 20 per 2 mm).
5. Presence of a capillary net:
• like a root;
• like a serpentine;
• children type;
• adolescent type;
• adult type.
6. Level of blood supply:
• the whole capillary is filled evenly;
• a precapillary has a deficiency of blood filling;
• a postcapillary has a deficiency of blood filling;
• by a type of the “air embolism”.
7. An effect of the “monetary columns”:
• present;
• absent.
8. Capillary circulation rate:
• reduced;
• normal;
• intensified.
9. Background of the capillary field:
• muddy-pink;
• light-pink;
• marble.
